50th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum

UHCS will have the honour to bring and exchange on its solution to improve access to quality and affordable housing at the 50th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum.
Throughout the world, countries and regions are realizing the urgency to build more affordable housing fast. Indeed, 2 billion additional people will need to be housed by 2050, and estimates expect 440 million households to lack access to affordable housing by 2025. In the context of the Paris Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals, there is an urgency to increase the use of alternative and carbon-neutral construction materials to build sustainable housing units globally.
The Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum will bring stakeholders from fields such as development finance, real estate, international organizations, business and government and thus embeds the multilateral approach needed to drastically increase the share of affordable and sustainable housing on a global scale.
